Batch processing allows you to complete the same registration step for multiple students at once, saving significant time when managing large numbers of registrations. This feature is available to both college administrators and high school users for their respective workflow steps.
When to Use Batch Processing:
- When you have multiple students at the same step in the registration workflow
- For common actions like approving registrations or sending notifications
- When managing registrations for specific terms or high schools as a group
Accessing Batch Mode:
- Navigate to the Registrations tab
- Use the Steps filter to select the specific step you want to complete
- Click the Step Actions dropdown menu
- Select "Complete in batch mode"
Using Batch Mode:
Simple Steps: For basic approval steps, registrations will display in a stacked table format:
- Review all registrations on one screen
- Check or uncheck boxes to select which registrations to process
- Add any required comments or information
- Click Complete Step to process all selected registrations at once
Complex Steps: For steps requiring document review or detailed information:
- Registrations will display one at a time
- Use the Next button to move through registrations
- Complete required fields for each registration
- Click Complete Step when finished with all registrations
